| This
letter is to highly recommend Chris Neville
as a personal trainer and fitness coach.
I've worked out with Chris for 2-3 times
per week for 3 years and I couldn't be happier
with him as a trainer. He has helped me
tremendously with not only overall fitness
and strength building (at age 39 I'm stronger
than I've ever been), but also specific
exercises to help improve my skiing ability,
my favorite sport. Unfortunately, I tore
a ligament in my knee (right ACL) skiing
in South America this past August, but it
hasn't deterred my work with Chris. While
I've been rehabbing my knee, Chris was able
to modify my upper body workouts and cardio
routines (stationary bike) so that I could
continue with an exercise program, even
when I had a hard time walking at first.
In time, we're now adding in leg strengthening
exercises to compensate for the missing
ligament, and I hope to be able to return
to the slopes in a few months, wearing a
brace.
Through it all, Chris has
been extremely encouraging and understanding.
He knows how to motivate a client both when
healthy and, if necessary, when recovering
from an injury. He gets to know each person
individually and understands their personal
fitness goals, whether to build strength,
lose weight, or perform a particular sport.
I always feel as though Chris is 100% there
for me, having my best interests and goals
at heart. He pays careful attention to what
I'm doing in the gym to not only help me
improve, but more importantly prevent injury
- too bad he wasn't with me in Chile when
I wiped out skiing!
Chris Neville is a true professional
who makes working out enjoyable, safe and
productive. Most of all, he is a fine person
of the highest integrity. If I can answer
any further questions about Chris or his
work, please feel free to call me at (310)
379-3437.
